For more than 50 years, the Children’s Clinic has had a rich tradition of being one of the premiere providers of healthcare for the children of South Texas.  In 1952, Joseph Oshman, M.D. recognized the need for affordable and accessible pediatric healthcare in the Coastal Bend.  Dr. Oshman decided to relocate his family to Corpus Christi from Galveston and began building his practice.

About The Children's Clinic

The mission of the Children’s Clinic is to ensure that high quality healthcare is accessible to all families in the Coastal Bend

What started as a solo physician practice has grown to 16 physicians and 10 nurse practioners.  We would like to invite you to visit the Children’s Clinic at one of our 5 convenient locations throughout the Coastal Bend.  We have been taking care of children in this community since 1952 and you can take comfort in knowing that your children will be receiving the best medical care from some of the most experience doctors around.   We look forward to meeting you!

Easier Access and Convenience

Your child’s health is very important. Here at the Children’s Clinic we want to provide convenient access to services your child may need. To start, we have 5 easy access clinics located around the Coastal Bend.  You will also find our in-house X-Ray and lab facilities to be an added plus to your visit all without having to drive around town. Want more convenience? Our clinics also have onsite Medicaid and CHIP verification specialists to help determine your eligibility. Contact us for more information about our services.
